A hot line is available by calling (817) 858-0222 or (800) 732-3001 and pressing extension 1. The system will search through the technicians on line until one answers or after 3 attempts it goes to voice mail and sends out text messages to the technical representatives.

If you have a need for urgent support, we suggest you NOT call a specific individual for whom to leave a message.  That person may be unable to answer.   We suggest you use the above connection or place calls with everyone.   You can also send text messages.

What if I can’t connect

Sometime we can’t connect computers. You always have the option to call us as we have numerous ways to connect including GoTo Assist Corporate, GoTo Resolve, Go To meeting, remote desktop and windows built in quick assist.

In the meantime, if you are having issues with GoTo Assist, here are some trouble shooting tips. These step might also help with GoTo Resolve connections.

GoToAssist Corporate Connection Wizard (EXE)

How to Run the GoToAssist Connection Wizard
 1.  Download the GoToAssist Connection Wizard. 
 2.  Click Run, Yes or OK if prompted.
 3.  To enable GoToAssist Service support, Click Yes.

 4.  Click Yes if prompted by UAC.
 5.  Click Run Wizard to get started after the Connection Wizard opens.

 6. The Wizard will automatically open a web browser and direct you to https://get.gotoassist.com.
 7.  The Wizard will automatically run the necessary tests, after you Click OK to continue.
 8.  Click Next once it’s finished.
 9.  The results of the tests will be displayed by the wizard and it will list any errors that were found.

10. Click Finish to store the settings.

11. You can click “I still have problems” for further help from a member of GoTo Assist Customer Care but we prefer that you
     contact us by phone if you can’t resolve the issue.

Run the Connection Wizard in advanced mode (advanced users only)

The Connection Wizard also offers an Advanced Mode.  Advanced users and network administrators have the ability to select the connection method that GoToAssist will use within your network. The Connection Wizard also offers:

1.  Follow Steps #1 – 5 above.
2.  Click Run the Connection Wizard in Advanced Mode from the first screen of the Connection Wizard.

3.  A browser will automatically be opened by the Wizard and direct you to https://get.gotoassist.com.
4.  Click OK to continue
5.  Click Next once the connection validation has finished.

6.  All verified connection methods will be displayed by The Wizard.   
7.  Select your preferred connection method, then click Validate the selected method. If you wish to leave your connection settings unchanged, click Display the connection report (no settings will be stored).
Note: For detailed information on the GoToAssist data server IP addresses that the Wizard attempts to reach, please consult our IP range document.

8.  The necessary tests for your selected connection method will automatically be run by The Wizard.
9.  Once finished, you can choose one of the following options:

o   Validate another connection method
o   Restart the Connection Wizard
o   Store this connection method for use with GoToAssist
o   Do not store connection settings

Configuring advanced settings for the Connection Wizard (advanced users only)

The Connection Wizard also offers advanced users and network administrators customizable options that control how GoToAssist manages connections within your network.

  1.  Follow Steps #1 – 3 above.
  2. On the first screen of the Connection Wizard, click Configure advanced settings for the Connection Wizard.

3.  Select your desired configuration parameters. If you wish to use a proxy address to communicate, check the box for “Add Proxy”.
4.  Fill in the Address and Port fields.
5.  Click Next when finished.

6.  On the Advanced Settings window, you can check the box(es) for ” Test Address Ranges” and/or “Test DNS name resolution”.
7.  Click Next when finished.

 8.  A browser will automatically be opened by the Wizard and direct you to https://get.gotoassist.com.
 9.  Click OK to continue
10. Click Next once the connection validation has finished.

11.  All verified connection methods will be displayed by The Wizard.
